08-Feb-2010: I have a convict decendant who was transported to Australia on his shipping record it states he was native of Waltham could this be in this area or just a shortened name for Waltham forest he comitted his crime at flying horse yard , Bishop gate and i understand this isnt all that far from waltham forest area..
His name was Thomas Rutter and sentenced on 11 september 1822, and had an occupation as shoemaker any help will be appreciated
